Meet Mauly! Welcome to the team!

I am very excited to finally introduce all of you to Mauly! She joined our team and started her training this past June. She will be assisting clients with all the important details of their upcoming safaris, expeditions, and workshops!

Don’t panic, Abigael is not leaving completely, but Meikan Safaris is growing fast and requiring a lot more of her time. We have you covered as Mauly is amazing with the details!!

LEARN MORE ABOUT MAULY!

I was born and raised on the Eastern side of Nairobi. Growing up I saw nothing but buildings and vehicles.  I always felt like there was something missing! Originating from the lakeside of Kenya, my family and I used to have long annual drives up-country to visit our relatives.  I deeply looked forward to these drives as I was able to see wild animals while passing through Nakuru.

During my primary school years, I had the opportunity to go on several adventures. Filled with excitement, I looked forward to every one of them! However, I was never completely in touch with nature until I visited Tsavo East National Park; I fell in love!  This was a life changing experience which led me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management.

Once I finished university, I joined the Piper Mackay Photo Safaris team.  I’ve had the opportunity to grow and learn a lot over these past few months. I’m looking forward to meeting many of you and ensuring you have a memorable safari of a lifetime!
