Speaking Event November 7

I am currently in Africa where I have had the privilege of traveling with guest in Kenya, Chad, and South Africa, for the past 9 weeks, with one more to go.

When I was recently contacted to speak at this event, I had no idea that two people very, close to me, would be diagnosed with a very serious cancer.  It makes donating my time to speak at this event, where all proceeds go to the American Cancer Society, even more important, special, and deeply meaningful!

I will be sharing stories about my photographic journey from the early years through my transition to infrared with the Nikon Z7; safari advice, tips for remote travel,

and photographic advice from the past 16 years of my work throughout the African continent! There will be plenty of time open to answer any and all photographic or travel questions.

Please join us at Paul’s Photo on November 7, at 7:00 PM to celebrate our passion of photography, travel, and help to support the fight against cancer that will touch every single one of us!!!!!

THIS IS A FREE EVENT THAT IS FILLING FAST.

Please make sure to register, as space is limited. We hope you will consider making a small donation.

So wish, I lived closer. Proud of your acceptance to speak before you even had a heart string. Amazing how life points us in a direction and we have no idea why at the time only to have the reason revealed as we follow our path. I will continue to pray for you and your amazing path.

I’ve been battling metastatic breast cancer since 2013. Glad to hear you will be donating to a good cause.

Thank you Piper for dedicating your time for this; just one more reason among many why I respect you and how you inspire me . As a recently diagnosed person with cancer; albeit not as serious as most, I am grateful for you doing this. Unfortunately, I will be traveling to Northern California at this time. Thank you again so much.

    Piper,

So sorry I will miss this as I’m out of town. If there is another opportunity in the future, please let me know. I am a huge supporter of cancer survivors and do work with Johns Hopkins for women’s ‘below the belt’ cancers. I lost my niece/daughter to this disease almost two years ago. She initiated a Strive & Thrive Race and a Survivorship Program as well, of which I support and continue her legacy. I’m so happy that you’re doing this and bless you for any raising of funds going towards this dreaded disease. Liz
