BLACK LEOPARD 
Laikipia Wilderness, set in Northern Kenya, is best known as the home of Giza, the world-famous black leopard whose striking beauty has captured global attention. This breathtaking reserve is a haven for exotic wildlife, hosting iconic species of the north such as Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, oryx, gerenuk, vulturine guinea fowl, and thriving packs of wild dogs. With its stunning landscapes and unique biodiversity, Laikipia Wilderness blends rare animal encounters with the awe-inspiring beauty of untamed Africa.

OL PEJETA
Against the majestic backdrop of Mount Kenya lies a vast, thriving wilderness at the forefront of African conservation. Imagine scanning the golden savannah to discover a crash of endangered Black Rhinos drifting through the whistling thorn acacias, a sanctuary that holds the largest population in East Africa. More intriguing is entering the highly protected enclosure to stand in the presence of the world’s last two remaining Northern White Rhinos—a deeply moving and exclusive encounter. Ol Pejeta is also home to a dense population of predators and the classic Big Five. The conservancy is spectacular year-round, offering unique experiences from lion tracking to dramatic night game drives under starlit skies.

SAMBURU
Crossing the equator opens a magical new world! Filled with large, iconic umbrella acacia trees in a stunning, arid environment among the rich, red African soil, Samburu Reserve evokes the traditional vision of “I Dream of Africa.” As the wind blows through the stunning doom palms, one knows they are in a magical place.Roaming through this primal land and unique to this reserve are the maneless lions, rare and exotic Grevy’s Zebras, red soil–stained red elephants, reticulated giraffes, Oryx, and Somali ostrich. In the stillness of what seems like an empty land, one might hear the rustle of the brush as a cheetah or leopard makes himself or herself known. In stark contrast to this dry, neutral landscape, wander the vivid, semi-nomadic, colorful Samburu tribe. 

Originally part of the Maasai tribe on the Nile River, the Samburu split off when the Maasai journeyed south to Tanzania. The Samburu, meaning “butterfly people,” not only left their tribe but also enhanced their traditional dress with vibrant colors and intricate beadwork, reflecting their rich heritage. Known for their traditional dances, storytelling, and elaborate ceremonies, the Samburu preserve their cultural legacy and vital community life.
